Andrew Lay - Senior pastor

Andrew is a graduate of Tennessee Wesleyan College, and he received his Master of Divinity from Asbury Theological Seminary. He is an ordained elder in the Holston Conference. Andrew, his wife Ally, and their daughter have been serving at Wesley since July 2022.

Shannon Duggan - Administrative assistant

Shannon grew up in Etowah just a few blocks from the church and has continued to reside in the Etowah area with her husband David and their two children, Brooklyn & Braden.

Zach Wilson - Youth Director

We are thankful to have Zach Wilson serve as our youth director here at Wesley Church. He leads our youth group meetings on Wednesday evenings and during Sunday School.

Jamey Wright - MUSIC DIRECTOR

Jamey moved to Athens, Tennessee, in August 2023 from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where she earned a doctorate in vocal music performance from Louisiana State University. In addition to leading worship music at Wesley Memorial, she serves as an adjunct instructor of music at Tennessee Wesleyan University and teaches voice and piano lessons at TWU’s Community Music School.
