Located in Etowah, TN, Wesley Memorial is a vibrant United Methodist Church nestled in the rolling hills of Southeast Tennessee.
Helping People find the way
Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church was founded in 1906 and has been a vital part of the Etowah community ever since. We are a smaller sized congregation with a huge heart for the community. We pride ourselves on helping to improve the lives of others in our area. We serve the community weekly through running the Etowah Food Pantry within our church building. We also run Upward sports through our facilities. We host yearly events to give away backpacks filled with school supplies, and Christmas presents to families in need.
Inside the church walls, we hope to ensure that each member feels spiritually fed in order to continue doing good to those around them when they leave. Our congregation is made up of all ages and generations, from babies to the wise. We hold various activities and bible studies throughout the week for these different age groups. There is something for every age to be involved with. Please consider joining us on Sunday mornings to find out more about us.

WE BELIEVE Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church is called by God, redeemed by Jesus Christ, and empowered by the Holy Spirit to love God, serve others, and make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.
In order to accomplish this,
WE BELIEVE in “helping people find the Way,” who is Jesus Christ—by exalting Him with our lives and serving Him with our resources; by proclaiming the Good News of His grace; and by growing in knowledge and love for Him through active involvement in small groups, Bible studies, corporate worship and outreach.
WE BELIEVE we are to be a loving and supportive fellowship where everyone is welcome at every stage of life; where the love of Christ is celebrated and shared through fellowship, accountability, prayer and faithful stewardship; and where anyone can find a place of acceptance and belonging.
WE BELIEVE we are to reach out into our surrounding neighborhood, to the Food Pantry patrons, WesleySports programs, to the people of Etowah, and to the whole world, in order that we may serve them in love and witness to the grace of Jesus Christ.
WE BELIEVE we are to be witnesses in our world by living as disciples of Jesus; by seeing ourselves as missionaries in whatever place or walk of life we find ourselves; and by promoting the growth of God’s Kingdom in our world through acts of service, worship and community.
